Bogotá, Colombia – July 2026. Eye Hero joined the Franja Visual 2026 Congress, held on July 9–10 at Corferias in Bogotá, Colombia, marking an important milestone in our growing presence across Latin America.
Represented by our Mexico-based colleagues Joan Robles and Mary Andrea González, Eye Hero connected with eye care specialists from across the region, creating an opportunity to introduce our approach to vision training while exchanging clinical perspectives, experiences, and ideas with professionals working directly in vision care.
This year’s Franja Visual theme, “Lifestyle, vision, fashion, and business,” brought together different dimensions of the optical sector, exploring how developments in visual health can evolve alongside changing patient lifestyles and wider industry trends.
Bringing the Eye Hero Workshop to Bogotá
Rather than relying on a traditional product presentation, Eye Hero introduced specialists to the platform through a practical and interactive space: the Eye Hero Workshop.
The workshop was designed to demonstrate innovative tools for vision therapy, training, and rehabilitation while giving participants an opportunity to engage more closely with the technology and its potential applications.
The hands-on format also opened the door to valuable professional exchange. Throughout the congress, our team discussed clinical cases, shared experiences with specialists, and explored different perspectives on how technology can complement modern approaches to vision care.
For Eye Hero, these conversations were just as important as presenting the solution itself. They allowed us to learn directly from professionals in the region while creating meaningful connections with members of the Latin American eye care community.
Strong Interest from Eye Care Specialists
The response to Eye Hero at Franja Visual exceeded our expectations.
Specialists showed significant curiosity about new technology for vision training and were eager to learn more about how digital tools could be incorporated into their work with patients. The Eye Hero Workshop remained busy throughout the event, and we were proud to see our space become one of the most visited booths at the congress.
The level of engagement highlighted a clear appetite among professionals for innovative approaches that can expand the possibilities available in vision therapy and rehabilitation.
More importantly, the interest went beyond simply discovering a new technology. Many of the discussions centered on real clinical experiences and the evolving needs of specialists and their patients, creating the kind of professional dialogue that helps innovation become genuinely relevant in practice.

Learning from the Latin American Eye Care Community
Franja Visual was also an important opportunity for Eye Hero to listen.
Growing in a new region starts with understanding the professionals who work there, the patients they support, and the realities of local eye care. Conversations during the congress gave our team valuable perspectives that will help us continue adapting our approach as we develop relationships across Latin America.
The enthusiasm we experienced in Bogotá reinforced our belief that technology can play an increasingly valuable role in supporting specialists with engaging and accessible vision-training solutions.
For us, expanding into Latin America is therefore not simply about introducing Eye Hero to new markets. It is about building long-term relationships with professionals and creating solutions that can support better access to modern vision care.
Growing Eye Hero’s Presence in Latin America
Franja Visual 2026 represents an exciting first step in Eye Hero’s journey across the region.
Our goal is to continue expanding access to innovative digital vision-training technology, giving local eye care specialists additional tools they can use to support their patients while helping make advanced solutions more widely available.
By working closely with specialists, partners, and eye care communities throughout Latin America, we aim to contribute to a future in which innovative vision therapy and training solutions are accessible to more professionals and more patients – regardless of where they are located.
We leave Bogotá with new connections, valuable insights, and even greater motivation for what comes next.
Thank you to everyone who visited the EyeHero Workshop, shared their experiences with us, and welcomed Eye Hero at Franja Visual 2026. We look forward to building Eye Hero’s presence across Latin America and creating lasting connections with the professionals shaping the future of vision care in the region.
