San Francisco, CA – September 2025. Eye Hero has released version 1.4.5 of its vision training platform, introducing two new gamified activities designed to measure and track eye coordination during training.
The update brings an additional layer of insight for eye care professionals, helping them better understand patient progress over time.
What’s New in Version 1.4.5
- Two new gamified measurement activities
- Improved tracking of eye coordination
- Additional data to support patient monitoring
New Measurement: Fusional Vergence
The first activity focuses on fusional vergence, measuring how well the eyes work together when adjusting focus. This activity helps track how patients respond to changes in visual alignment, providing useful data on coordination and control.
New Measurement: Flat Fusion
The second activity, flat fusion, evaluates how patients respond to gradually changing visual targets. It tracks both how far a patient can maintain focus and how quickly they recover, offering additional insight into visual stability.

Designed for Better Monitoring and Follow-Up
These new activities are integrated directly into the training flow, making it easy to collect meaningful data without adding complexity. The update helps professionals:
- Monitor changes in eye coordination over time
- Identify trends in patient performance
- Support more informed follow-up decisions
By combining training and measurement, Eye Hero continues to simplify how professionals track progress and guide patient care.
Availability
Version 1.4.5 is now available to all Eye Hero providers and users through the platform.
