Prague, Czech Republic – June 2026. Eye Hero returned from the World Ophthalmology Congress 2026 in Prague following several days of scientific exchange, professional dialogue and meaningful connections across the international eye-care community.
Held from 26 to 29 June, WOC 2026 brought together ophthalmologists, researchers, clinicians and innovators from around the world. For the Eye Hero team, the congress provided an important opportunity to introduce the vision training solution to a global audience, contribute to discussions around amblyopia care and engage with professionals working across clinical practice, research and digital health.
Bringing Eye Hero to the Global Ophthalmology Community
Throughout the congress, the team presented Eye Hero to ophthalmology professionals interested in the growing role of digital solutions in vision care.
Discussions focused on how technology can support more engaging and personalised approaches to vision training, while helping clinicians and patients navigate treatment pathways with greater flexibility. The event also created space to share insights from Hundred Vision’s ongoing clinical work and its wider development of digital tools for eye care.
For Eye Hero, these conversations underlined a shared interest across the sector in solutions that combine clinical relevance with a practical, patient-centred experience.

Sharing Perspectives on Amblyopia Care
The scientific programme also gave the team an opportunity to contribute directly to conversations on amblyopia.
Matic Vogric, CEO of Hundred Vision, presented Modern approaches to amblyopia during the Pediatric Ophthalmology Presentation Pods Session. The presentation addressed contemporary perspectives on the management of one of the most common childhood visual disorders.
Later in the congress, he took part in the E-Poster Walk Session with Personalization of amblyopia treatment through digital innovative tools. The presentation explored how digital tools may support more individualised approaches to treatment and help broaden access to modern vision-care solutions.

Insights from Across the Field
WOC 2026 offered a wide-ranging scientific programme spanning pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, myopia, glaucoma, cornea, cataract and refractive surgery, retina, neuro-ophthalmology, vision rehabilitation, artificial intelligence and telemedicine.
For the Eye Hero team, the congress was a valuable opportunity to follow discussions on emerging clinical approaches, technological developments and the changing expectations surrounding personalised patient care.
The programme reinforced the importance of continued collaboration between clinicians, researchers and technology developers as the field explores new ways to improve vision care for patients.

Conversations That Create Opportunity
Beyond the formal programme, WOC 2026 enabled the Eye Hero team to meet new experts, researchers and potential collaborators from across the global ophthalmology community.
The conversations held in Prague provided valuable insight into the priorities of professionals working in different clinical settings and opened the door to potential future collaborations. These exchanges remain central to Eye Hero’s development, ensuring that the solution continues to evolve in dialogue with the people working closest to patients.
Looking Ahead
WOC 2026 marked another important step in Eye Hero’s growing international journey.
The congress strengthened connections with the ophthalmology community, created new opportunities for collaboration and reaffirmed the value of bringing digital innovation into conversations around amblyopia and vision care.
Thank you to everyone who visited the team, attended the presentations and shared their perspectives with us in Prague. We look forward to continuing these conversations and advancing the future of digital vision training together.
